About Buckeye Black Box

We are an Ohio State student organization focused on quantitative research and systems that go fast. Members span finance, CS, ECE, and math. We run pods on strategy research (momentum, microstructure, ML) and engineering (low-latency infra, data pipelines, exchange sims).

What we do

• Weekly meetings with lightning talks and hands-on labs
• Research pods with mentorship and paper clubs
• Resume and interview prep with alumni & recruiters
• Build-a-stack projects: market data, backtesting, and infra
